Double stitch green ‘roo for the Sinn 356

Sinn Spezialuhren was founded in 1961 by Helmut Sinn, a former Luftwaffe pilot and flight instructor, who set out to build high-functioning pilot and navigation watches for professionals. The 356 Flieger itself draws design cues from German aviator chronographs of the era, especially the iconic Heuer Bundeswehr watches worn in the cockpit.

This Kangaroo strap was built with that same practical spirit: made to be tough, lightweight, has a low profile and is built to last.

Every thread of this hand stitched, (double stitched,) strap reinforces the build without stealing focus.

As for the colour...I’m a huge fan of green and with a custom dye like this, I tried to create the most pleasing forest green I could. Not too Olive, not too British racing green. Creating the right balance between the yellow and blue hues for this green is just one aspect of what I really enjoy about making my own colours 😀
