Its surface has a velvety, almost powder-soft feel, yet it’s structured enough to endure daily wear without collapsing or thinning out. Because it’s chrome tanned, it resists heavy patina and holds its colour well which is ideal for those who want texture without too much evolution.
On sports watches with brushed steel cases or dress pieces with mirror finishing, nubuck creates a restrained contrast that can be rugged, or refined.
