Stepped Caramel cow leather for the Reverso

This shade of caramel brown is a colour achieved by bleaching natural cow leather.

When you normally think “bleaching” you think about a colour becoming a lighter shade, however when bleach meets natural veg tan leathers it reacts in a way that almost fast tracks a normal patina or aging process.

This is a 45 second dip in bleach. Any longer, and it would’ve started to go a much darker burnt brown.
