Single pass style yellow 'Roo for the Speedy

Although it’s very subtle, this is one of my first tapered singlepass style straps - 20mm at the lugs, 18mm at the buckle.
The traditional lack of taper on single pass style straps has always been something that’s put me off from wearing them. It makes a watch wear chunkier and larger than usual. The straight strap of course has it’s place for the right watch, but once it occured to me to throw in a taper, it’s totally transformed the way I view what the single pass can be. If you’ve been following for a while you know I love a good taper! 😀

The tapered version gives you the usual benefits of keeping the watch secure even if one springbar were to break, but it also retains the elegance you’d get from a tapered leather strap.
